Abstract
We studied surface topographies, selected roughness parameters, fractal dimensions and frequency plots relating to stainless steel and polycrystalline 99.5% titanium bombarded with perpendicular low energy (800 eV) broad argon ion beam as well as neutralized narrow argon or krypton ion beam (up to 6 keV).
