Abstract
âºArchaeological Buccheroide pottery from Monte Bibele (Italy) has a fine fabric. âºThis fabric was obtained by using local red clays without added temper. âºThe pottery was fired at temperatures accidentally variable from < 700 °C to > 900 °C. âºThe potter adopted two different combinations of reducing and oxidising conditions. âºThe two combinations usually gave red/black or black/red layer coloured paste.
