Abstract
⺠Adsorption of 2,4-dinitrophenol and 2-methyl-4,6-dinitrophenol is studied on LDHs. ⺠Mg/Al ratios, pH values, contact times and initial pesticide concentrationss are considered. ⺠MgAl-LDHs with interlayer chloride ions are efficient adsorbents of DNP and DNOC. ⺠The calcined LDHs has a higher capacity than the LDHs for the uptake of phenols pesticides.
