Abstract
In model-based development, designers develop models of complex engineered systems from combinations of building blocks, and then simulate the system behavior. The design process is assisted by multi-domain system modeling and simulation tools. These tools should be able to allow users to understand and validate the simulated behavior in terms of parameters and their dependencies with effective use of quantitative information, such as simulation results, experiments, and catalog data, in the system model. This paper proposes a tool that displays the parameters and their dependencies in system models written in Modelica, and integrates these models with numerical data. The latter feature is useful for evaluating quantitative performance.
