Abstract
Enantioselective protonation reactions of enolates, enols, enol ethers, or enol esters have been extensively studied. On the other hand, their applications in tandem or cascade sequence have not been fully explored and examples of such reactions employing organocatalysts are few. This account describes some of the most common synthetic strategies recently developed to address such challenge.
