Abstract
In this paper, a new DQ-based compact step-by-step integration method is proposed. Analytical proof of stability is presented. The method is unconditionally stable and not affected by algorithmic damping. Besides, sixth-order convergence can be achieved. A classical nonlinear model is studied as example application. Compared to other similar procedures, this new method provides accurate results, even if the step size is relatively large.
