RETRACTED: Numerical simulation of undular hydraulic jump on smooth bed using volume of fluid method

This article has been retracted: please see Elsevier Policy on Article Withdrawal (http://www.elsevier.com/locate/withdrawalpolicy).This article has been retracted at the request of the Editor-in Chief.It has come to our attention that there is very substantial duplication of text and content between this Applied Mathematical Modelling article and an earlier paper by the same authors, F Rostami et al, Numerical simulation of undular jumps on gravelled bed using volume of fluid method, Water Sci & Tech, Vol 66, 909–917 (2012), DOI http://dx.doi.org/10.2166/wst.2012.213.This amounts to an unacceptable level of self-plagiarism.One of the conditions of submission of a paper for publication is that the authors declare explicitly that the paper has not previously been published and is not under consideration for publication elsewhere. As the article did not refer to the earlier paper, and copies much of this work, it is being withdrawn in line with journal policy. We extend our apologies to the editorial board of Water Science and Technology, and the publishers, IWA publishing.
