Abstract
In this paper, we discuss an H1H1-Galerkin mixed finite element method for a class of heat transport equations in the one-dimensional case. Optimal error estimates in L2L2-norm and H1H1-norm are obtained for both semi-discrete and fully discrete approximation scheme. Moreover, a numerical example is presented to illustrate the effectiveness of the method.
