Abstract
In this paper we introduce a class of generalized relaxed positive semi-definite and skew-Hermitian splitting (GRPSS) preconditioners for generalized saddle point problems. Properties of the preconditioned matrix are analyzed and compared with those of the closely related positive semi-definite and skew-Hermitian (PSS) preconditioner introduced by Shen (2014). Numerical results of a model Navier–Stokes equation demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed preconditioners.
