Abstract
The energy of a graph GG is a graph invariant defined as the summation of the absolute values of all eigenvalues of GG. In this work the energy of a nanotorus and that of a (3,6)-fullerene are computed by using a result of John and Sachs [P.E. John, H. Sachs, Spectra of Toroidal graphs, Discrete Math. 309 (2009) 2663–2681].
