Abstract
The Narumi–Katayama index of a graph GG, denoted by NK(G)NK(G), is equal to the product of the degrees of the vertices of GG. For various classes of graphs, we characterize the graphs GG for which NK(G)NK(G) assumes an extremal (minimal or maximal) value.
