Abstract

In this paper, we investigate the convergence of cascade algorithm associated with the masks with exponential decay. As an application of the characterization of convergence of cascade algorithms in the space L2,∞(R)L2,∞(R), we can construct Riesz wavelet bases in L2(R)L2(R) with exponential decay.
