In this paper, a series of polyaniline (PAn) nanostructures from fiber to star-like, net-like and coral ball are prepared by controlling the synthesis conditions, including monomer/stabilizer ratio, pH, and reagent adding method and rate, in diffusion polymerization. Products are characterized by FTIR, SEM, and XRD. Polyaniline assembles to nanofiber, which has a larger diameter at a rapid oxidant adding rate. Stabilizers, Triton X-100 and PEG-600 are utilized. The nanostructures of polyaniline net used Triton X-100 as stabilizer and are more regular, because of the hydrophilic tail of the stabilizer which hinders the growth of the particle and the change of micelles' structure with the surfactant concentration. High pH value benefits for the regularity of the products. Micro balls which have a coral-like nanostructures are synthesized.
