Abstract
Let (E,â¥,â,0,1) be a lattice effect algebra and Ïi its interval topology. In this work we show that if the operation â is continuous with respect to Ïi, then Ïi is Hausdorff. In addition, we also show that if (E,â¥,â,0,1) is a complete MV-effect algebra and Ïi is a Hausdorff topology, then the operations â, â, ⨠and ⧠are Ïi continuous.
