Abstract
Traveling wave solutions of the Maxwell–Duffing model of doubly-resonant media are studied numerically. The corresponding nonlinear eigenvalue problem is solved via simulated annealing. The model is shown to possess a discrete spectrum of velocities for solitary waves.
