Some chemical transformations of carbohydrates in aqueous medium

The interest of combining the use of carbohydrates as synthons and the use of water as the reaction medium is emphasized by briefly reviewing some examples of contributions in this field achieved in our Lyon and Orsay laboratories.

RésuméL’intérêt de combiner l’utilisation des sucres comme synthons et l’emploi de l’eau comme milieu réactionnel est illustré en décrivant brièvement quelques exemples de travaux réalisés dans ce domaine dans nos laboratoires de Lyon et Orsay.
