Abstract
In this work, kinds of Marr-type wavelets Ψn(t)Ψn(t) are obtained and an explicit expression for the wavelets is derived. Time–frequency analysis shows that, regarded as window functions in a short time Fourier transform (STFT), the wavelets have monotonically increasing supporting areas in terms of the size of the so-called time–frequency windows and the vanishing moment of Ψn(t)Ψn(t) is also monotonically regularly increasing with nn.
