Abstract
⺠A method was developed for diameter measurement of Miscanthus giganteus stems. ⺠Illuminated Line Segments on stems were used to determine depths and diameters. ⺠Experiments were conducted under field conditions. ⺠The measurement system proved reliable, and reasonably accurate.
