Abstract
The influence of the mass flow and the disc rotational speed on the outlet angle and the angular distribution of the fertiliser mass flow around a disc for two fertilisers are examined. The width of the angular mass flow distribution changed as a function of the amount of fertiliser per vane whatever the origin of its modification (i.e. rotational speed or mass flow).
► Effects of the mass flow and the rotational speed were analysed and compared. ► Outlet angle is not a function of the fertiliser amount per vane. ► Angular location of the spreading distribution is not a function of the fertiliser amount per vane. ► Width of the spreading distribution is a function of the fertiliser amount per vane.
