Abstract
⺠Short wave radiation transmittance by agricultural screens was measured. ⺠Geometrical analyses and empirical results of transmittance agreed well. ⺠Screen angle and orientation (for rectangular holes) influenced transmission. ⺠Scattering of direct radiation increased total radiation transmittance. ⺠Transmission in a screenhouse decreased by about 0.1% dayâ1 due to dust accumulation.
