Abstract
•The study of free-molecular flow through the oscillating membrane has been conducted.•The optimal amplitude of membrane oscillation was found.•Approximate dependence of membrane conductivity on oscillation speed was constructed.•Approximation equation allows to determine the optimal value of oscillation speed.•Variation of the channel length does not increase efficiency of gas separation.
The study of a free-molecular flow through the membrane oscillating in its own plane has been conducted. Optimal values of membrane oscillation parameters for most efficient gas separation have been found.
