Abstract
► In this study we model the radiation environment of the ESEO satellite. ► The most significant components of the radiation field will be the trapped particles. ► The optimal shielding thickness of the detectors is 1.2 mm aluminium. ► In this study we model the thermal environment of the ESEO-TriTel experiment. ► The temperature of the instrument using MLI will be between +72 °C and −84 °C.
