Abstract
Conical shaped charge system (CSC) has been developed for several years, and a target speed could be attained in last year. But it was found that a following jet remained. Then, the removal system for this following jet was developed and checked through the experiment. Moreover, hypervelocity impact test with a two-staged light gas gun (GG) was performed for the purpose of comparison with the results of impact test by CSC. This paper describes the removal system of following jet of CSC, test results of GG and comparison between these results.
