Abstract
Measurements of the wall pressure have been carried out by high-resolution pressure transducers in a wind tunnel and a flume respectively. The characteristics of time scales of the wall pressure signal can be obtained by the non-traditional wavelet analysis with the maximum energy criterion for identifying burst events in wall turbulence.
