Abstract
⺠Future scenarios for fisheries management in the Northeast Atlantic are explored. ⺠The case used is the future harvest of the plankton Calanus finmarchicus. ⺠Management is critical because of the Svalbard Treaty and shared fish stocks. ⺠Critical to be pro-active rather than re-active in fisheries management. ⺠Scenarios are practical for policy makers and confidence building for stakeholders.
