Abstract
⺠SVM is proposed for identification of nonlinear dynamics of underwater vehicles. ⺠Dynamical model is established by using hydrodynamic experiments. ⺠Maneuvering simulation and control application are conducted for validations. ⺠Damping terms together with Coriolis and centripetal terms are identified.
