Abstract
⺠The generic submarine propeller E1619 has been numerically simulated. ⺠A grid study revealed that wake is more affected by the refinement than forces. ⺠Vortex pairing was observed for high load propeller conditions. ⺠Self-propulsion of the DARPA Suboff submarine with E1619 was studied.
