Abstract
► The generic submarine propeller E1619 has been numerically simulated. ► A grid study revealed that wake is more affected by the refinement than forces. ► Vortex pairing was observed for high load propeller conditions. ► Self-propulsion of the DARPA Suboff submarine with E1619 was studied.
