Abstract
⺠The paper presents an analysis of the radiation forces on a ship with high forward speed. ⺠The analysis uses experimental data, a time domain panel method and a linear strip theory method. ⺠The case study is a Fast Ferry with several speeds between 0 and 40 knot. ⺠It is concluded that the time domain panel code is able to represent the high forward speed effects on the radiation forces. ⺠It is concluded that the time domain panel code is able to represent these effects.
