Abstract
⺠A novel training algorithm for back propagation algorithms was proposed. ⺠Significant wave height was predicted using geno-multilayer perceptron approach. ⺠Genetic algorithms was compared with back-propagation training algorithms. ⺠Geno-multilayer perceptron approach was applied for Lake Okeechobee, Florida. ⺠Geno-multilayer perceptron approach yields a good prediction results.
