Abstract
► A new flume experimental study for wave-induced seabed response is presented. ► The study is based on comprehensive measurements over a uniform-originated seabed. ► Fluidised response controls the evolution of inhomogeneity in strength. ► Strength inhomogeneity contributes to the erosion and mass-transport activity. ► Further advances in the “reactivation” phenomenon of the subaqueous slope.
