Abstract
⺠Simulation of waves generated by moving pressure fields using Boussinesq equations. ⺠Discretization of equations with surface pressure term for three different modes. ⺠Comparison of analytical solution of 1-D long wave equations for a moving pressure. ⺠2-D simulations of different shaped pressure fields for a range of Froude numbers. ⺠Numerically obtained wedge angles are compared with Havelock's analytical formulas.
