Abstract
⺠Ship arrangements functional requirements/constraints are analyzed using networks. ⺠Drivers of layouts are identified using network metrics of centrality and hierarchy. ⺠Drivers are identified prior to layout generation providing knowledge to designers. ⺠Space allocation to structural zones is simulated using random edges. ⺠Driver identification could provide guidance for system-level research directions.
