Abstract
⺠The SBFEM is first applied to the wave interaction with a new concentric cylindrical structure. ⺠The solving process for the SBFEM equations have been re-derived. ⺠The major factors affecting hydrodynamic performance are examined. ⺠Due to the existence of the middle porous cylinder, hydrodynamic force is reduced considerably. ⺠The present study aids to choose design data suitable to the user's requirements.
