Abstract
⺠A two-phase flow NS solver with dynamic mesh technique was applied to the damaged barge flooding. ⺠The effects of damaged opening and compartment internal layout were fully considered. ⺠The interactive dynamics between the barge and floodwater were analysed. ⺠The floodwater exhibited strongly non-linear and transient behaviour in the initial stage. ⺠The barge and floodwater became quasi-static in the intermediate and final stages.
