Abstract
⺠We consider the problem of the numerical evaluation of radioactivity migration. ⺠We solved the problem in a porous medium consisting of system of parallel fractures. ⺠Pseudospectral, higher order Crank-Nicolson and compact schemes are employed. ⺠We asses their relative merits for both intermediate and large distances.
