Abstract
► We consider the problem of the numerical evaluation of radioactivity migration. ► We solved the problem in a porous medium consisting of system of parallel fractures. ► Pseudospectral, higher order Crank-Nicolson and compact schemes are employed. ► We asses their relative merits for both intermediate and large distances.
