Abstract
⺠Detected-neutron multiplication factor kdet is proposed. ⺠The kdet is defined as a ratio of production/annihilation for detected neutrons. ⺠Neutron source multiplication method is reinterpreted based on the concept of kdet. ⺠It is useful to put a neutron detector where kdet = keff for the accurate measurement.
