Abstract
⺠The use of a LEU fuel (U3Si) in Miniature Neutron Source Reactors is investigated. ⺠Only a mixed core (33% HEU, and 67% LEU fuels) can be used to run the reactor. ⺠The reactor thermal power should be increased to 32 kW instead of 30 kW. ⺠Safety margins decrease for both normal and accidental operation conditions.
