Abstract
► Discrete-generalized multigroup method was implemented as a recondensation scheme. ► Coarse group cross-sections were recondensed from core-level solution. ► Neighboring effect of reflector and MOX bundle was improved. ► Methodology was shown to be fully consistent when a flat angular flux approximation is used.
