Abstract
⺠The first and second law analyzes of an electrically conducting fluid past a rotating disk is studied. ⺠Homotopy Analysis Method, Particle Swarm Optimization algorithm and ANN are applied for optimization. ⺠A very good agreement observed between the obtained results and the previously published data. ⺠For minimizing the entropy generation value a procedure based on ANN and PSO is proposed.
