Abstract
⺠We model a hybrid waste-to-energy cogeneration system for the disposal of MSW. ⺠Reference model for MSW treatment consists of biogas burning and composting. ⺠Hybrid cogeneration solution is superior to the biogas burning reference model. ⺠Carbon credit and waste tax increase the attractiveness of the proposed solution.
