Abstract
⺠A design of a carbon-capture coal-fired power plant based on a CO2 supercritical Brayton cycle is proposed. ⺠A net LHV efficiency of 41.3 %pt is achieved enabling a reduction of cost of avoided CO2 of 45%. ⺠The potential of CO2 supercritical Brayton cycle for decarbonized power generation is highlighted.
