Abstract
⺠A novel rotary desiccant cooling cycle is developed using thermodynamic analysis method. ⺠Isothermal dehumidification and regenerative evaporative cooling have been integrated. ⺠The cycle is advantageous in terms of both heat source utilization rate and space cooling capacity. âºÂ Cascaded energy utilization is beneficial for cycle performance improvement. ⺠Upper limits, which will be helpful to practical design and optimization, are obtained.
