Abstract
⺠We proposed a hybrid FCASO-SQP method for solving the ED problems. ⺠FCASO algorithm dynamically tune the parameters of CASO using a fuzzy logic. ⺠Based on FCASO, SQP technique is further used to improve the solution of ED problems. ⺠Applications in ED problems with 3, 13, 40 generators demonstrated its superiority.
