Abstract
► The influence of atmospheric variables on the wind farm's exergetic efficiency on coastal mountainous terrain was studied. ► Air density varies monthly and from site to site (1.108-1.228 kg/m3) based on the air psychrometric analysis. ► From November till April (lower temperatures) air density is higher (wind speed is higher) while humidity ratio is low. ► Losses because of air density were 1.4 times more than wake and topographical losses. ► An exergetic power density map was produced which could be used from project developers for a more accurate prediction.
