Abstract
⺠Experimental analysis of a single cylinder, four stroke VCR (Variable compression ratio) engine are carried out. ⺠Performance, emission and combustion characteristics of biodiesel are studied. ⺠Engine speed 1500 rpm, fixed compression ratio 21 and at different loads. ⺠BTE (Brake thermal efficiency), SFC (Specific fuel consumption), BP (Brake power), IMEP (Indicated mean effective pressure), Mechanical efficiency and exhaust temperature are analyzed. ⺠Exhaust emission test and combustion characteristics are also carried out.
