Abstract
⺠232Th, 238U were determined using Instrumental Neutron Activation Analysis (INAA). ⺠Study area located in the tropical region of high rainfall that remains steeped in tribal tradition. ⺠Agriculture by Jhum (slash and burn) cultivation and animal husbandry are the main occupation of the tribal populations. ⺠The estimated daily intake of 232Th and 238U in high rainfall area was found to be 3.4 and 2.0 μg respectively.
