Abstract
âºA new approach to tritium washout modeling and a relevant numerical model are proposed. âºShortcomings of the washout coefficient concept are demonstrated. âºThe washout coefficient is unnecessary and it is not used in the proposed washout model. âºThe washout model does not suppose Gaussian dispersion and avoids the related demerits. âºTritium washout is influenced most significantly by temperature and rainfall parameters.
