Abstract
SQPBIL was applied to the particular case of the Pressurized Water Reactor (PWR) NROP to maximize the 7th operation's cycle of Angra 1. The results have confirmed the efficiency of the method in comparison to other optimization techniques based on artificial intelligence currently available.
