Abstract
This paper deals with the application of the perturbation theory in the field of nuclear reactor research. In order to determine the sensitivity coefficients the code APSTRACT was developed. We describe adopted methodology and its connection to common calculation tools. The reliability of developed code was validated by direct perturbation calculation in terms of integral values for isotopes and reactions of interest. The shapes of sensitivity profiles were compared with sensitivities adopted from the International Subgroup 33 of NEA Paris and calculated by TSUNAMI-3D to also ensure the within-group validity. Finally, the applicability of APSTRACT was shown in reactivity response sensitivity analysis.
