Abstract
⺠Groundwater vertical flow controls the geothermal field in the Bohemian Cretaceous basin. ⺠Some corrections were necessary for the heat flux calculation (vertical flow, topography). ⺠Tectonics has in most cases only secondary effect on the thermal field. ⺠Two longitudinal W-E areas in the BeneÅ¡ov-Ãstà aquifer system reveal higher heat flux.
